ABC Baltimore’s – Naloxone Train-the-Trainer Program for Construction Safety Professionals
September 18 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
ABC Greater Baltimore is happy to announce a new opportunity for our members to keep their workforce safe. We are collaborating with the University of Maryland, Baltimore Workplace PROSPER (Partnering to Reduce Opioid Stigma and Promote Employment in Recovery) team who are focusing on the high risk of opioid overdoses in the construction industry. The UMB Workplace PROSPER team is now an official Overdose Response Program, which means they can train your safety professionals to deliver naloxone training and provide life-saving naloxone to your workers. Naloxone is a medicine that can safely and effectively reverse an opioid overdose. This program is free and will be offered monthly on the third Wednesday of the month. If you are interested in making your worksites safer, participate in our training sessions hosted at ABC Baltimore.
